Missed this weekend's posts...oops!

Hello readers! I was so focused this weekend on finally finishing my IHS that I completely avoided the web and almost all other non-knitting related activities. I am so happy to report that I did finish, and I did take pictures, but I didn't upload those pictures yet, so I'll get them up tonight.

I got into knitting because I wanted to make fun things for myself to wear but I rarely end up knitting something for myself. So, I am very very very very very very happy with this completed IHS. Mind you, I live in Austin, TX and it is a warm December (some days as high at 76 degrees F) and I am a Californian who loves cold & rainy days, so I am not sure how much use I will get out of my new beauty but I am so happy to have made myself something cabled and pretty. I also had time to cast on my matching hat, but I am still in the 4" k2 p2 ribbing phase so no cabling on the round yet. I just hope it goes okay. And I hope I finish it in time for the one day of cold we'll get here in Austin this month. We'll see.

(Returned to post the completed pics.)

For those of you that have been coming back daily for my Revan's pics, I'm sorry I missed Saturday and Sunday but I promise to not let that happen too often. Here goes....

Revan's Picture of the Day...Just because he is cute, dammit!

Revan likes the Dell Badge

Revan likes to play with my Dell badge. I work at Dell and you have to have a security badge to walk around but when I am home it is Revan's chew toy. I just think he looks all cute cuddled up in a ball on the couch, but this was taken right after he was finished playing with the badge. Ah the joy of having Revan in my life.
