For Xmas I decided to try to create my own Fair Isle pattern skulls on leg warmers for a friend. I based the leg warmer pattern, loosely on one from a holiday knitting book that is not near me at the moment and I am too lazy to walk over to it to get the name. I link that later.

Anywho, it turned out to be a lot harder than I expected and turned into a mid-January gift, rather that a Xmas gift.

Here is the end result, I am very proud of this project even though there were times I wanted to light them on fire from froggin' frustration. THAT and having to look at pink everyday for a couple months. I am just NOT into pink. But having finished these I must admit, hot pink and black look pretty cool together.

I also just finished my first attempt at the Multidirectional Diagonal Scarf
by Karen Baumer. I really love this pattern. I just worked it with some scrap yarn, so I ran out before I had a really decent length scarf, (this one is approximately 50") but I still like how it turned out. I'll be making more for sure.

Last set of pics for this post is a little hat I made from scrap yarn for myself, the Waffle Hat

That's it for me tonight. I am sleepy.
